Project Management Director

As PROPEL has grown, we’ve quickly unearthed a need for a dedicated project manager. The project manager will oversee the efforts of PROPEL and help keep us on track. PROPEL has recently started using BaseCamp, but we need an individual to optimize its use and identify best practices across the organization. All hours spent helping PROPEL can be used towards the PMP’s 4500 project experience hours.

  • Manage PROPEL’s use of BaseCamp (or propose another tool)
  • Identify and implement best practices across the organization
  • Help build and execute project plans to achieve PROPEL’s goal

Business Development

Over the past 10 months PROPEL has developed new services and sponsorship programs that have enabled it to increase its funding by 5x! The program and new services gives PROPEL board members countless opportunities to meet with business owners and business leaders in Maine. It is a volunteer opportuntity that pays dividends, especially if your job requires a healthy network to excel.

  • Leverage PROPEL’s sponsorship strategy to obtain philanthropic donations, in-kind donations, and membership discounts.
  • Use PROPEL's name, not profit status and mission to meet Maine business leaders that would benefit from PROPELs new services.
