Meghan is an estate planning attorney and owner at Myers Law, LLC in Westbrook. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maine School of law, where she served as the Technical Editor for the Maine Law Review, interned with both IDEXX and a boutique Portland law firm, and was a student attorney in the Intellectual Property Clinic. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Penn State. After graduating from law school, Meghan took time off to start her family, which inspired her desire to help other parents of young children plan for the future. She is admitted to practice in Maine and is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, the Maine Women's Network, and the Maine Estate Planning Council. She also serves as treasurer for the Downtown Westbrook Coalition.
Furthermore, Meghan is passionate about animal rescue and volunteer with Fetching Hope Rescue, an organization that brings homeless dogs from Arkansas to New England, where they find loving families. It has been her experience that most families have not adequately provided for their pets in their estate plans, and she is dedicated to ensuring that her clients have considered all family members, human and animal alike, when making estate planning decisions.
In her free time, Meghan enjoys crafting, baking, photography, playdates, and spending time with her family. Originally from the Deep South, she also grew up in Pennsylvania and now lives in Westbrook with her husband, son, and two rescue cats.
