Networking-The Vital Link!

It has been said many times that if you have contacts, you’ve got it made. Certainly, the names and numbers of the right people are critical. Consider this: the real issue is not who you know, but who wants to know you. Some people talk about how important it is to build a large database of business contacts. What is more important is the number of people who have you in their database. The best business people figure out ways to attract more business. Networking is a tool you can use to create ongoing success. Attend this PROPEL workshop to pick up vital tips for before, during and after a networking event.

Dave is president of Dale Carnegie® Maine — a training organization located in South Portland. Prior to joining Dale Carnegie Training, Dave held leadership positions for Nike and Exxon Corporation. With over 25 years experience, Dave is a certified trainer of all of the Dale Carnegie Courses®. In addition, Dave is an internationally certified Master Trainer for Dale Carnegie & Associates. As a master trainer, Dave has conducted dozens of domestic endorsement events as well as events in Canada, Korea, Scotland, Mexico, Portugal, Greece, and Japan.

As well as on-going public programs, Dave has conducted customized training programs for local companies such as IDEXX Laboratories, Inc., JobsinME.com, The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), Martin’s Point Healthcare, and Delhaize America (Hannaford). Dave is a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy with a degree in engineering.
